The only problem with bringing in Clark and Kara in this episode is that they are utilized sparingly and have very littleВ screen time. ItвЂ™s also incredibly satisfying seeing Clark pull off the classic Superman pose, ripping open his shirt and revealing his crest underneath. ThereвЂ™s always that mix of darkness and fun that The Flash and Arrow have, but they rarely have a hopeful,В reconciliatoryВ tone, but simply by bringing in Kara and Clark, the tone gets added pretty quickly. WhatвЂ™s so great about bringing in Supergirl and Superman is the drastically different tone that they bring to the crossover. As for Lois though, she really felt like the Lois Lane from the comics, which is always nice, and her back and forth with Clark was great. As someone who doesnвЂ™t typically watch Supergirl, the interactions between Kara, Clark, and Lois felt natural and heartfelt with the trio actually feeling like family. But first, we get to see the familial relationship between Clark, Kara, and Lois Lane in her first appearance in theВ Arrowverse. To help them with their current, predicament, they go to Earth-38 to get assistance from Supergirl to see if she remembers them. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin do a great job throughout this episode as well.В Plus,В Barry gets payback by shooting Oliver in the back as Oliver did years ago. Their interactions and explanations with each other about what they can do is genuinely fun and it makes so much sense for the two to act this way together. ThereВ areВ also some very heartfelt moments where they are able toВ hearВ what an outsider thinks and knows about their current situations. And then the two of them trying to convince the rest of the team who they are is often very funny which is surprising given the situation. Oliver is immediately serious and Barry is at first ok with it and joking around before he realizes that Oliver would be together with Iris and his mood immediately switches.
